Heavenly Father,

I come before You with a heart full of faith, trusting in Your word and Your promises for my marriage. Your word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path (Psalm 119:105). I lift up my marriage to You, asking for Your protection, guidance, and blessings over our relationship.

Lord, I declare Your promise in Genesis:

“Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.” (Genesis 2:24)

I trust in Your word from the book of Ecclesiastes:

“Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.” (Ecclesiastes 4:12)

I pray for Your guidance and wisdom in our marriage, as it is written:

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make straight your paths.” (Proverbs 3:5-6)

I declare Your love and commitment over our marriage, as promised in Romans:

“Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honouring each other.” (Romans 12:10)

Lord, I claim Your promise of unity and peace for our marriage:

“Finally, all of you, be like-minded, be sympathetic, love one another, be compassionate and humble.” (1 Peter 3:8)

I hold onto Your promise of love and humility:

“Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves.” (Philippians 2:3)

I speak Your promise of patience and kindness over our marriage:

“Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth.” (1 Corinthians 13:4-6)

I declare Your word from the Psalms:

“Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labour in vain. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the watchman stays awake in vain.” (Psalm 127:1)

Lord, I trust in Your promise of strength and perseverance for our marriage:

“Let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.” (Galatians 6:9)

I believe in Your promise of blessing and prosperity for our marriage:

“The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace.” (Numbers 6:24-26)

I pray that our marriage reflects Your love and glory:

“Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.” (1 Peter 4:8)

Thank You, Lord, for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. I trust in Your promises and believe that You are at work in our marriage, guiding us, protecting us, and blessing us abundantly.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
